RSS feeds
Finally I am back on track with my 23 things and have been reading all about RSS feeds. To my surprise when I was adding a feed from flickr of photos of east gippsland , I found there was a heap of photos from bolceg and even some of myself!
There is a lot to read in the feeds and I look forward to finding feeds that I like. I have found this troublesome but I have finally got it to work. Here is my link to my public blogline account

Today we also had a liveclassroom session which was very interesting and I'm sure will be a large part of how we communicate in the future. It will be a useful tool for our Neihgbourhood House network.
I have also been reading Sue from Benambra's blog it is really fantastic she has done such a lot of work. Well done Sue.
It is late and time to go. The moon has had a halo around it tonight and there is a plague of wasp insects that are attracted to the light and sound like rain on my window.

quarry beach 02
Well I have managed to post from Flickr but I have to say that I still like picasa more as it is more straight forward to get going.
Still I am pleased to have finally acheived this goal.

Merimbula Photos using Picasa
I recently walked along the Board Walk at Merimbula, NSW and it is quite beautiful around there.
So practicing my skills with Picasa I have uploaded a few shots taken on that walk.
I really like picasa as it is very easy to use, you just need a google account. If anyone else is interested the link to the Picasa site is http://picasa.google.com/
My next goal is to master Flickr and get back on track with the 23 things.
I still hope to see other 'Mallacoot-ians' join.
Regards Susie

Using picasa to upload a photo
I have finally managed to upload a photo to Picasa and then paste it to my blog. It automatically links to the other photos I have uploaded to Picasa, just click the image to see how it works.
This is the mallacoota wharf before it was renovated recently, the information shed is still there but moved slightly for better access. The shed murals were created by several local artisits and it has become a popular tourist destination.
